This range of unique bio fires from Planika, is now available for the first time in the UK from MSL Interiors and marketed through Urban Icon. The bio fires use an environmentally friendly fuel called FANOLA® bio ethanol, which is manufactured from sustainable and renewable plant sources. When burning, FANOLA® produces no smoke or smell and leaves no residue. In addition to mesmeric dancing flames, the only combustion products other than heat, are carbon dioxide and water vapour, which are given off in similar proportions to exhaled human breath. Consequently no chimney or flue ventilation is required, so these bio fires can be placed virtually anywhere in the home or in profiled commercial interiors, assuming normal ventilation. For the first time fire can be used as a design construct and can be liberated into interior spaces both in the home, out on the patio and in commercial settings such as bars, restaurants, hotels and spas. |
