The Planika Standard bio fire is a steel, powder coated insert designed to be recessed into a wall. Inside this bio fire insert is highly polished stainless steel which enhances the stunning visual effect of the dancing flames. The Standard insert has a glass shield and an internal heat deflector which channels a stream of hot air into the room from the unit. Using bio fire technology this insert uses FANOLA® bio ethanol an environmentally friendly fuel, which is made from plant extracts making it both renewable and sustainable. Since this burns without smoke or smell you don't need a certified chimney or flue system, it can be placed directly in the chimney breast or other wall with very little technical installation.
